How are curtains measured?

It's surprisingly tricky to accurately measure curtains.

The width of your curtains depends on the width of your window, how much space you have around it, and the overall look you'd like to achieve.

The depth of your curtains is based on where your curtain pole or track is positioned. You may want to position it as high as possible if you're trying to make your window look taller. It's also worth thinking about if you want your curtains to puddle on the floor.

That's quite a lot to consider, but with Hillarys, measuring and fitting is included in our service as standard so you don't need to worry. Your local advisor will provide tailored advice for you, your windows, and your budget.
